Description
As a Junior Buyer, you will support the purchasing team in the procurement of goods and services for our company. You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager to identify suppliers, negotiate contracts and optimize the procurement process.
Responsibilities / main tasks
- Research and identification of potential suppliers and manufacturers
- Support in negotiating prices, conditions and contracts with suppliers
- Management of orders, deliveries and supplier relationships
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery deadlines
- Working with other departments to understand the requirements for goods and services
- Tracking market developments and identifying new procurement opportunities
- Data analysis to identify potential savings and efficiency gains in the purchasing process
Qualifications / Requirements
- Completed studies in the field of business administration, economics or comparable training
- Ideally initial experience in purchasing or related areas
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Analytical skills to evaluate data and market information
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of common Office applications, ideally experience with purchasing software
